Artist Bio
In 1993, singer/guitarist Richard Patrick left Nine Inch Nails and formed his own band. That band was Filter – a group who combined strands of industrial and grunge rock with Patrick's distinctive melodies and vocals. Over the course of four albums, as well as numerous soundtrack contributions, Filter built a loyal fanbase and became a favourite with critics. Tracks like "Hey Man Nice Shot", "Take A Picture" and "(Can't You) Trip Like I Do" have become synonymous with the 90s alt. rock explosion, and still resonate on radio to this day. Now, for the first time, Filter's best material has been gathered together on The Very Best Things: 1995–2008. The collection includes all of Filter's radio hits, select album cuts, and a wealth of rarities and compilation tracks. Detailed liner notes and brand-new artwork complete the package, which will appeal to Filter fanatics and casual listeners alike.
